Situation 1: In the pub
George Cox and Sarah Miles own land in Cornwall in the southwest of England. A wind farm development company is applying for planning permission to install wind turbines in the area where they live.
George is against the proposal because he does not see any benefits for him. Sarah, on the other hand, is more open to possibilities.
They meet in the pub to talk over the issue. Sarah manages to get George to have a more open mind about the advantages of the wind farm for him and the community.
They agree to go to a public meeting.
